Rally Rules
Welcome to the 75 F.I.C.C. International Rally in Ipswich England. To ensure the rally is a pleasant experience for everyone, we need your assistance and co-operation in observing the following rally rules:
1. Participation
The rally site will open at 10.00 hours on Friday July 31st. The site must be vacated by 12.00 Midday on Sunday 9th August. Early arrivals, except for authorized persons, will not be accepted. It is forbidden to camp overnight on the approach roads to the rally site or at the rally gate. The police will take action.
2. Entry
Entry to the rally site is forbidden to the public. All participants must hand in their registration card to the Area Admin after setup, for registration. Each participant will be issued with a rally pass, which must be worn at all times. All participants must be in possession of a valid International Camping Card.
3. Pitches
Once a pitch has been allocated it may not be changed without the express permission of the Area Steward. Pitches must be kept clean at all times. Digging of trenches is forbidden. Pitch limits must be observed.
4. Electrical hook-ups
Do not interfere with the EHU cabling and connection boxes, only qualified personnel may do so. The supply will be not less than 4amps/1kw. This should be adequate for lighting, fridge, and battery charging. Higher powered appliances must not be used.
5. Motor Vehicles
All participants must display the official rally vehicle pass in their vehicles at all times. The speed limit for vehicles is 5mph/8kph. Unless permission is given by the Area Steward, entry and exit of vehicles is prohibited between 23.00 hours and 07.OO hours.
6. Conduct
In dress and behaviour both inside and outside the rally site, participants shall conduct themselves with due regard to the conventions of the host country and the consideration of their fellow participants.
7. Noise
Undue noise shall be avoided at all times. Except in places specially authorized, there shall be no noise between 23.00 hours and 07.00 hours. The use of radios and other sound equipment is permitted only on condition that they do not disturb neighbours.
8. Hygiene
Drinking water taps are for the supply of drinking water only. All other use is strictly prohibited. Waste water must be emptied in places provided. Chemical toilets should only be emptied in the specially designated area. Rubbish should be segregated and placed in the correct receptacles placed around the site.
9. Animals
Animals must be under control at all times. No dogs or other animals, other than Assistance Dogs, will be allowed in any of the buildings. Out of courtesy to fellow participants, dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times. In the event of fouling, the handler is responsible and must clean it up immediately.
10. Accidents
All accidents must be reported immediately to the Area Steward.
11. Barbeque
No open fires are allowed. All barbeques must be at least 18ins/46cms
off the ground and must not be left unattended when in use.
12. Propaganda
Propaganda of a political or religious nature is forbidden on the rally site.
13. Trade
Only authorized traders and organizations are permitted to trade and advertise on the rally site.
14. Smoking
Under English Law, smoking is forbidden in all of the buildings.
15. Complaints
The Organizer reserves the right to expel, where necessary, any
participants whose behaviour is the cause of complaint and where that complaint is found justified.
